Hi, I’m Ashwini…Glad you’re here!

I believe great design should not only look beautiful but also make people heard and supported.

Curious...Empathetic...Creative

I’m a UX/UI Designer with a passion for creating meaningful, intuitive digital experiences rooted in research, empathy and creativity.

  • My passion for art and foundation in technology naturally led me to UX design a perfect fusion of both disciplines.

  • Before transitioning into UX design, I worked as a Mobile Application Test Engineer at Samsung Electronics, where I contributed to the successful rollout of multiple products. I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of talented and creative individuals, whose diverse backgrounds brought fresh perspectives to our work. Together, we built strong friendships and delivered high quality results through shared learning and collaboration.

  • When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy creating Rangolis traditional Indian floor art made using colored rice flour, powders, and flowers. I learned this beautiful art form from my mother at the age of seven and have been practicing it ever since, continually exploring new patterns and designs as a way to stay connected to my roots and express my creativity.

  • I grew up in India, surrounded by a large, supportive family and lifelong friends. Along the way, I picked up five languages and developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. I studied Computer Science in college and went on to earn a Master’s degree before life took me in a new direction one that led to UX design. Today, I live in Holly Springs, North Carolina with my husband and our 8 old daughter, where I continue to learn, grow, and create with purpose.

My Thoughts...

My Thoughts...

My Handcrafted Rangoli patterns - Rangoli art and UX/UI design share a surprising connection. Rangoli isn’t just decoration, it’s built from tiny ,colorful grains arranged with care, combining balance, symmetry, theme and meaning to create a welcoming experience for guests. Similarly, UX/UI design is crafted from pixels shaping digital spaces where first impressions, usability, and emotional connection matter most.

My Art of Baking - Baking and UX/UI design both layer elements thoughtfully. Just as baking starts with selecting the right ingredients, UX/UI begins with understanding user’s needs. Recipes guide the baking process, while wireframes guide the design structure. Ingredients must be mixed carefully, just like layouts, colors, and typography, and baking requires the right temperature and timing, just as design needs testing and iteration. Finally, a beautifully presented cake delights guests, just as a polished interface engages and satisfies users.
